  I have been a patient of Professor O’Connor for around 5 years now and he has recently delivered my first baby. He is worth every dollar and I was comfortable putting all my trust in him for the safe delivery of our child. Professor O’Connor went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met as a patient and even came to see me during my hospital stay on the weekend which meant so much to myself and my husband. His personality is very “to the point” but no appointment ever went without a joke or two - usually directed at me! We cannot thank him enough!

  Prof O'Connor is amazing! He may not always show it, but he truly cares about his patients. I met him 30 years ago when I was working night shift at the local public hospital. He was the only consultant I had known to come into E.D. and do emergency deliveries for women who had had no ante natal care, and turned up in labour.
  So when I was pregnant with my son, who is now nearly 30, I went to him. During that pregnancy I had my relationship breakdown, developed SLE and had (not too big) complications for the baby and myself at delivery.
  Despite me behaving apallingly at the delivery, Dr O'Connor was calm, professional and everithing turned out well.
  I was still on night shift till 38 weeks and I was not doing well. Dr O'Connor thought I had SLE and I went to a rheumatologist who though I didnt. Dr O'Connor was right though, I finally went to a brilliant rheumatologist, the lovely Alan Sturgess, and he confirmed Dr O'Connors diagnosis.
  Dr O'Connor is a very special man, thank you!

  At first you might not get his humor and he is like a grumpy gentleman. But he is the best doctor i have ever seen, the most caring, has the warmest heart that you can hardly see from the outside.
  I could never thank him enough.
  He helped me with my infertility, then the pregnancy management and the delivery of my first and second child. I would say my case is complicated and Prof O'Connor did saved my life twice. He is very precises with everything and all you have to do is "be a good patient", trust him and follow the instructions. You will ended up to be safe. Sometimes you might think "isnt that a little too much?", but he always does thing with a reason and based on his knowledge, never be too much when it comes to health. For me i feel it worths every penny that we spent.
  To cut a long story short, thank you prof and if you are looking for an obstetrician or gynecologist he is a right choice. But i will not recommended him when you need someone to be smiley and "looks kind" if you know what i mean.

  Love Dr O'Connor. Looked after me as a young girl with ovarian issues and was with me every step of the way through the delivery of my 5 children and various other gynaecological issues. So much respect and gratitude for him.

  This is my husbands account but I want to write a review about Professor Oconnor. I had two children with him and he was fantastic. Very thorough and picked up on my weak cervix which prevented potential miscarriage. What a blessing he was. The knowledge this doctor carries is unbelievable. Whilst some may find his manner not so friendly Professor Oconnor cares a lot about his patients and will do the best to provide the highest quality of care. I trust him with my life and my surgery (2 x csections) were painless and effortless. Thank you Professor O'connor.
