  Dr. Havas used lots of medical term and when I asked him kindly explain in plain English, he told me how about I ask your GP to explain in plain English, furthermore, I was informed 250 for the initial fee, at the checkout, I was asked to pay $500, I got a shock and asked why the price difference. Then I was told he did a endoscopy to see my nose, which I was not aware it was a endoscopy nor did he tell me it would be extra charge. He had Camera in my nose for less than 30 seconds. I thought it was part of my initial appointment, at least he should tell patients that there is a charge for the camera in nose for that 30 second and allow patient to make a decision if they want to pay for it and what they are paying.what if I couldn’t afford it?
  
  I didn’t finish my consultation before I was put to his assistant for pricing of hospital which I was just given informations to go home and read it myself. 10 minutes all together for $500 and I felt I was treated unfairly

  Dr Havas once operated on me when I had a sinus issue...Had no problems with his manner or work... then years later I had a throat issue that came up, out of the blue, a month before a 3 week trip to Peru... He and his staff fitted me into his schedule, Dr Havas explained and drew diagrams to explain my issue and surgery needed, and followed me up in a timely manner. He advised me on my status and I flew. No issue. He was fine with me. Will see him again if need be.

  My experience with Dr Havas may not have been recent as a lot of the other reviews, but still worth putting in a review as I have had a consultation with him in the past.
  I’m sure a lot of people have had good experiences with this Dr and some haven’t, my advice would be to look around and trust reviews you read as they are personal experiences and people don’t just put negative reviews for no reason.
  My first (and only) consultation with Dr Havas I was seeing him due to my tonsilitis issue I was having, and this was my first ENT consultation I had in my life, and when I went in to get a check up, I explained my issue and he proceeded with a Laryngoscopy, I was surprised to find out from friends who have seen an ENT (later on after this consultation) that it’s common for ENTs to use the anaesthetic nasal spray which he didn’t use, laryngoscopies are generally uncomfortable and bearable even with anaesthetic, but you can imagine how uncomfortable it was to have a laryngoscopy without the anaesthetic and still have your head guided into the rod.
  After it was done, all he told me was to just gargle on salt water for a few weeks then come back to him for another checkup. (As if I didn’t already know about the salt water gargle trick)
  Then I paid something like 300-400 for that consultation alone.
  Told my friends about it and was recomemnddd other ENTs who I have been with since who charge nowhere near as much and are a lot more gentle with the laryngoscopy.
  My consultation was very brief, but yet pretty steep in fee.
  I would say, look around, there are other ENTs out there.

  3 stars for Prof. 0 for his current admin. Far from the 5 they were 15 years ago. I’m simply after a copy of May daughter’s record and my experience today was beyond disgraceful. A phone call and subsequent email requesting her records and follow up phone call today to be told we are just waiting on Dr to sign the letter? After clear explanation she was apparently sending a letter to me? And then I was hung up on. I have zero faith in ever receiving my daughter’s records which I am more than happy to pay for, collect even photocopy myself! I’m hoping that social media reviews have more of an impact?

  My good doctor , thank you ! I appreciate you straighten up my nose for me. Don't get blocked nose everytime I sneeze now. I remember looking at the reviews and getting worried but my GP assured me you are the best and my trust has not been broken . Thanks again stay blessed.

  Fantastic surgeon, fantastic specialist! Very grateful for what he has done for my brother! Extremely professional, genuinely caring. Staff, particularly Amy, are fantastic. Would highly recommend Dr Havas to anyone requiring ENT assessment.
  Particularly love his simple, yet descriptive illustrations to convey complex biological functions of the nasal cavity.

  The Doctor was qualified and helpful but the receptionists was not. They didn't seems helpful and sympathetic with patients and they had unfriendly phone responses.

  Took my son into see professor Havas with the possibility of needing surgery but with conservative management, the right exercises and treatment he was successfully cured without surgery! Would highly recommend him.
