Right from the moment we met him we felt comfortable and in good hands. I have now had two different operations with Dr Kohan and both have been very successful and I am now pain free, which is great seeing I am 83 years old.
  Dr Kohan’s Team is also wonderful and caring and Dr Joanne Momens is a beautiful and caring anaesthetist. I have had two great experiences and I am very much appreciative of the care they show. I highly recommend Dr Kohan and his team.”

  My Mum underwent lumbar laminectomy and fusion surgery in lately July 2022. Dr Kohan was the surgeon and Dr Joanne Momsen (from Alliance Anaesthetics) was the Anaesthetist.
  
  The surgery was very successful and my Mum is recovering rapidly. What has made Dr Kohan a standout surgeon and doctor is the way in which he conducts himself and the way in which he treats his patients. On my first time meeting with Dr Kohan, he spent over an hour explaining in details the purpose of the surgery, the risks involved and what to do post surgery in order to recover rapidly. Dr Kohan comes across as extremely knowledgeable and has tremendous amount of patience for questions posed.
  
  Post surgery, Dr Kohan visited my Mum everyday (incl weekend) to ensure Mum was feeling better and recovering well. The dedication to taking care of patients Dr Kohan had exhibited is remarkable and admirable. I've developed a tremendous amount of respect for Dr Kohan.
  
  Dr Joanne Momsen was the Anaesthetist and was professional, caring and knowledgeable. The anaesthics given were just right and my Mum didn't vomit once she was awake (post surgery).
  
  I cannot recommend Dr Kohan enough for anyone looking for that specialist advice on treating pain (in legs) due to lumbar region bones crushing down on discs. If anyone wishes to know more about how amazing of a doctor Dr Kohan is I'm more than happy to go into details the experience my Mum had gone through and how quickly she's recovering. It's very rare in this day and age to find a knowledge, patient and caring doctor like Doctor Kohan.

  There aren't enough stars you can give someone for saving your life, however since 5 is the highest I can, I would rate Dr Kohan EXCEPTIONAL 5 and cut above the rest. I have been bounced around by two other surgeons who told me my condition was complex and they were unable to operate or provide any long term solution to my agonising neck, shoulders and arms pain. I saw Dr Kohan only once, he listened to my concerns, thoroughly assessed my scans and x-rays, he was empathic, understanding and compassionate. He explained my condition in detail and solution how it could be fixed. He explained pros and cons so I was able to weigh up my options and make an informed choice. Dr Kohan was decisive, immediately organised the date for the op and even though he finished my op quite late in the evening, he still made time to give my husband a call to reassure him that everything went well. Dr Kohan's remarkable intelligence and his high EQ make him the most outstanding surgeon and an exceptional human being. His passion to preserve life is reflected in his commitment, diligence and compassion he shows to his patients ! THANK YOU to Dr Kohan, his staff, receptionist and nurses for making my surgery and post op recovery so seamless. Its week 7 since my op and I am almost back to normal. I am forever indebted to your kindness. Thank you

  I can’t thank Dr. Kohan enough, he was a wonderful surgeon, and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am super happy with the results.
